The D6437/ D6457 NVMe SSD is DERA's High performance enterprise product line. These products utilize a Gen3 PCIe interface and are compatible with NVMe 1.3. Advanced 112-layer 3D TLC NAND is applied to provide high throughput and IOPS, very low latency, and consistent quality of service. The D6437/ D6457 product line has an efficient firmware architecture which to optimize drive performance and endurance and is available in high capacities up to 7.68TB. The intensive LDPC units and end-to-end data path protection improve the product reliability. It features thermal monitoring and protection, SMBus for out-of-band management.


The DERA D6437/ D6457 NVMe SSD is compatible with mainstream OS and virtualization system. The performance meets the requirements of database and virtualization application. The DERA D6437/ D6457 NVMe SSD tries to keep a balance between performance and cost, to help customers to reduce TCO.


The DERA D6437/ D6457 NVMe SSD has two endurance classes: D6437 (3.84TB, 7.68TB) is 1 drive writes per day (DWPD) @5years; D6457 (3.2TB, 6.4TB) is 3 DWPD @5years.

The 2nd Generation ASIC controller of DERA D6437/ D6457 NVMe SSD is developed by DERA with software-hardware co-designed methodology, achieved enterprise-class data integrity, many built-in hardware acceleration units, sophisticated NAND flash management, and performance aggregation in a power-efficient way. Architected with advanced 3D TLC NAND, D6437/ D6457 deliver a reliable and high performance NVMe storage solution. D6437/ D6457 offer endurance and capacity options of 3.84TB, 7.68TB at 1 DWPD (5yrs), and 3.2TB, 6.4TB at 3 DWPD (5yrs).
DERA D6437/ D6457 NVMe SSD realized intense hardware LDPC units, end-to-end protection on the whole data paths against silent errors, adaptive redundancy protection among independent NAND units, and protection against unexpected power-losses, which are forged into an integrated protection for user data. In addition, D6437/ D6457 NVMe SSD constantly sense drive's healthy and react in time accordingly, which is available for host management software to perceive and handle potential drive failure.
DERA D6437/ D6457 NVMe SSD achieved high performance with low latency. Sustained random write IOPS up to 400K, random read/ write latency low to 76/ 11us. Optimized FTL algorithm sufficiently anticipate the extreme conditions of highly-intense workloads and workload variations with sophisticated scheduling and controls over front-end I/O demands and FTL backend activities, ensuring a stable performance in all cases. D6437/ D6457 NVMe SSD deliver a performance consistency above 90% in significantly heavy random I/O workloads.
